UX / AI Designer Role

User Experience Designers are essential members of our cross-functional product teams, driving the creation of impactful, user-centered solutions. As a UX Designer, you will play a key role in shaping the vision and execution of experiences from early concept through launch. You’ll collaborate closely with clients, end users, product managers, researchers, developers, and subject matter experts to bring complex ideas to life. You'll also have the opportunity to push the boundaries of innovation by contributing to AI-driven product design and data-intensive applications in partnership with our engineers and data scientists.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end user experiences for both new and existing products, with a focus on next-generation capabilities including Generative AI, Generative UI, and Agentic tools
• Apply a deep understanding of AI technologies, constraints, and emerging interaction paradigms to craft intuitive, effective solutions across desktop and mobile 
• Develop scalable, consistent design systems, reusable components and UI paradigms
• Create low and high-fidelity prototypes to explore, test and communicate product experience
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including clients, researchers, developers, product managers, and fellow designers, to bring product visions to life
• Confident presenting ideas and designs to cross-functional teams, clients, and stakeholders
• Facilitate user feedback (moderated/unmoderated), synthesize findings and incorporate prioritized feedback into product design iterative design
• Participate in Agile development process as a member of a multidisciplinary product team
• Occasional travel to engage directly with clients or collaborate with remote team members

Minimum Qualifications

We value team members with diverse experiences and backgrounds. If you have relevant experience that doesn’t quite fit the typical mold we’d still love to meet you!

• Minimum 3 years of professional UX/UI design experience delivering solutions for complex enterprise or consumer software
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with ability to clearly convey design ideas through prototypes, presentations and other media. Experienced and comfortable communicating directly with clients and cross-functional teams
• Hands on work experience creating AI-driven product experiences with an understanding of GenerativeAI, Generative UI, Agentic tools and evolving landscape of AI capabilities and constraints
• Proven track record designing data-intensive, cross-platform applications including responsive web and mobile
• Strong proficiency in Figma, familiarity with agile processes and some knowledge of AI design generation tools
• Adaptable and comfortable with ambiguity, able to thrive in fast-moving, evolving project environments
• Collaborative mindset, experienced working with subject matter experts, developers, product managers, and stakeholders across disciplines
• Bonus experience in data visualization, accessibility, or designed within regulated industries are a plus, but not mandatory
• Educational background in HCI, Interaction Design or related field preferred (BS/MS), but equivalent professional experience is highly valued and will be considered
• Location in Austin or Houston preferred, but we are a remote culture and open to candidates in other locations in or outside of the US
