We are seeking a Senior Frontend Developer with deep JavaScript expertise and experience building modern, performant user interfaces for both web and desktop environments. In this role, you will work within cross-functional delivery teams to design and implement scalable front-end architectures that support complex, real-world workflows for enterprise clients. This is initially a 3-Month Contract, with potential for an extension or Full-Time W2 position. This will be a work from home role, however, currently we're only seeking candidates in Austin, Texas.

What You’ll Do

  • Architect, develop, and maintain front-end applications using modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.
  • Build, package, and deploy JavaScript applications for desktop environments using container-based technologies, including Electron.
  • Implement reusable UI components, state management patterns, and front-end architectures that prioritize performance, maintainability, and scalability.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and client stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
  • Communicate technical trade-offs, architecture decisions, and implementation details clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Contribute to code reviews, documentation, and engineering best practices to ensure high-quality delivery.
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders for specific external client products.

What You Bring

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience developing Front-End code for complex products
  • Strong proficiency in modern JavaScript (ES6+), including asynchronous patterns, modular design, and modern build tooling.
  • Deep experience with at least one major front-end framework (React, Angular, or Vue) in production environments.
  • Experience developing and deploying desktop applications using containerized frameworks such as Electron.
  • Solid understanding of front-end architecture concepts, including component-driven development, state management, and performance optimization.
  • Ability to work effectively in client-facing, cross-functional teams and adapt to evolving requirements.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with OpenFin, FDC3, or desktop interoperability standards.
  • Familiarity with financial services platforms, fintech workflows, or regulated enterprise environments.
  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and modern DevOps practices for front-end applications.
