Training > Competitive
Usability Testing

Audience: Usability Engineers, Product Managers,
Marketing Managers, User Experience staff, and
anyone in Marketing
or Development who wants to understand how and when to do competitive testing.
Description: How much better or worse
is your product or site than its competitors? Is a
proposed new user interface better than the current
one? Understanding the answers to these questions will
help you understand your product’s strengths
and weaknesses and position it appropriately in the
marketplace. This course will teach you to design an
appropriate test, define the measures, and analyze
the results. The methods covered range from quick,
mainly qualitative preference tests to full-blown experiments
with several quantitative measures. Learn how to define
what you need to work better with a vendor, or how
to do it yourself.
