Expero employs a user-validated approach to user experience
design, so that the final result meets the needs of
end-users as well as business owners.
We start by creating low-fidelity sketches or storyboards
to explore design concepts and illustrate key elements.
We validate the conceptual models through discussions
with clients and user research with end-users. Next,
higher-fidelity prototype designs demonstrate the interaction
and look-and-feel. Often we create content for the
UIs we design, including user instructions and error
messages.
Through iteration and feedback, we put it all together
to reach a final design that is useful, usable and
appealing.
- Make sure information architecture, navigation,
task flow and features meet user expectations
for ease of use and efficiency.
- Save time and money by illustrating
and validating
initial concepts with low-fidelity designs.
- Create
consistent messaging across channels (Web, print,
TV) to increase brand strength and positioning.
- Develop
UI style guidelines to communicate and strengthen
corporate identity and to enhance usability through
consistency.
- What should the information architecture and
navigation scheme be?
- Should the users make selections
using dropdown boxes, radio buttons, checkboxes,
text fields, or some other
way?
- What is the most important content, and how
should it be presented?
- Which look-and-feel resonates
with our users and best conveys our brand attributes?
